Community Profile
Above all else, the Amazon Protection Foundation is about the people of the Amazon Rainforest. Our 50,000 acre private Reserve is home to over 3,000 people, within fifteen small communities, and largely living off the forest. Through our work, and with your support, we will enable local people to be more financially secure, learn new skills, enjoy improved standards of living and education and have a truly sustainable future, as custodians of the forest that supports everyone on the planet.
The Amazon Protection Foundation is a not-for-profit foundation certified by the US Government as a 501(c)(3) and headed by a world-leading board of environmentalists, innovators and ambassadors.
