We Are Amazonians is our Global Sustainability Platform, created in 2009 to promote Amazon Rainforest conservation, protect its biodiversity, promote the sustainable development of traditional communities, and fight climate change through our four pillars, and following the UN 17 Sustainable Development goals.

to support sustainable growth and empower local traditional communities.

to support and implement CO2 emission reduction programs.

to foster ecosystem services and business-related activities with positive impacts on the Environment and Society.
Our Social Programs
Our Social Programs transform natural resources into income and conservation, always embedded in the principles of social and environmental responsibility. They are focused on the areas of;
Education - including literacy, numeracy and technical skills that open up greater opportunities for the communities.
Health - including clean and purified water projects and our long running "Health in Amazonia" program.
Infrastructure - delivering improvements to living conditions, water supplies and building quality, including sanitation facilities, homes and schools.
Women’s empowerment - to open new employment opportunities, ensure equal opportunities and support new, women-led, sustainable business ventures.
Income generation - through the harvesting and sale by local communities and cooperatives of non-timber forest products, the profits from which also go back into our Social Programs.
